Born and raised in St. Louis, Jan now calls Columbia home. She moved here to support her husband as he pursued a second degree at the University of Missouri. Jan attended Lutheran North High School and earned an Associate’s degree from Florissant Valley Community College. She has been a licensed agent since 1999.

Jan’s journey into real estate began after eight years as Susan’s Office Manager, where she gained extensive experience in various aspects of the industry. Since becoming licensed, Jan has worked as a Buyer’s Agent and regularly hosts open houses for The Susan Horak Group. She finds great fulfillment in guiding clients through the home-buying process, offering warmth, patience, and full-service assistance every step of the way—from the first day of searching to closing day and beyond.

Jan is a proud member of the Columbia Board of Realtors (CBOR), the Missouri Association of Realtors (MAR), and the National Association of Realtors (NAR). She has been with Susan for over 30 years, providing expert support and dedication to every client she serves.
